ARTIST CALL Downtown Eastside Small Arts Grants 10th Anniversary – BYOV Emerge Festival

Artists who have previously received a DTES Small Arts Grants Award are encouraged to consider sharing their work at a venue of their choice in June 2020 to be a part of Emerge Festival. The DTES Small Arts Grants program can support your independent exhibition/presentation with promotion as a BYOV (Bring Your Own Venue) participant.
All BYOV Emerge Festival Participants will be featured in Emerge Festival 2020 marketing materials as long as the exhibition/presentation information is received by the DTES Small Arts Grants Office by April 1 2020.
1. The Application Process
First you need to apply directly to the venue of your choice.
If you do not have a venue in mind, please check out the list attached to this information page.
The DTES Small Arts Grants Program will provide advertising in the Emerge Festival program guide and Emerge Festival publicity materials. This may include, but is not limited to press releases, Facebook posts, Facebook Events, DTES Small Arts Grants website event listings, and more.
The BYOV Emerge Festival Promotion Applicants (You!) are responsible for all administrative requirements and costs associated with your BYOV exhibition/presentation in June 2020.

- Share up to 6 photos of your work – Allowed file types: png gif jpg jpeg.
- Please share your biography (150 Words Max)
- Please provide an artist statement (150 Words Max)
- Project description (150 Words Max)
