Trevor Murray is originally from Port Franks Ontario and came to Vancouver B.C. in 1994. Since then Trevor has has come to know the community on the downtown eastside as his true home. Trevor has risen above many adversities and misfortunes in his life and has come to rely on his art as an essential practice in healing and moving forward. Art has been a very essential and sacred journey for him and through his paintings and drawings he is able to express many facets of his personality and emotions.
Currently Trevor is creating his project for the Vancouver Small Arts Grants for whom he is a recipient for June 2016. Trevor's proposal offering will be creating a garden sundial for the East Hastings Folk Garden in Vancouver B.C. There will be a public reveal gathering at the end of June (exact date to be announced later). Refreshments and or foods and treats will be provided.
