Sleepless Kao

I have been an artist in the DTES for16 years. By living a frugal lifestyle, I have managed to sustain myself from illustration jobs, teaching animation part-time at ArtsUmbrella, Granville Island, and as a childrens book author.

It has been a long process to publish my first childrens book, Monchans Bag, with the Vancouver based publishing company, Simply Read Books. To keep up with the changing world of publishing, I am currently creating a second childrens book with complimentary digital treatments similar to the now popular e-book.
