Metis singer/songwriter Rosanne Gervais draws crowds with her powerful, sensuous vocals & impish smile, whether it's performing for local fans in coffee house settings or in larger venues.
Says Gervais: "I heard Beverley Dobrinsky, a gifted singer and community inspiration say of herself: 'I've been blessed with a beautiful voice.' Something changed in me that day. I realized that I too could use my gift to contribute and inspire with the healing beauty of music."Since then, Rosanne has gone on to perform in such community ventures as: the Heart of the City Festival, Vancouver Jazz Festival, Justice Rocks, We are the People, Bah Humbug and the Music on the Lawn Concert at Government House in Victoria with Dal Richards. Rosanne hones her musical edge doing solo work in a variety of genres including jazz, blues, musical theater, sacred improvisation, and gospel with the The Marcus Moseley Chorale.
