Mark J. McLeod was born in Vancouver BC and has lived here since 1960. He is a songwriter/singer/guitar player. Mark started to write poems since 14 years old and continued throughout his life. He received his Second Education Diploma June 2002 from Vancouver School Board. In 2003 and 2004 many poems and songs happened.
"In 2012 I wrote Lou Stella Bolleene’s Quadra Opus, a four part story composed of songs, poems and humor: 1, Invisible Madness, 2, Vanishing Creek, 3, Invitation, and 4, Bird of Truth. I busked with my guitar on Streets in Vancouver, 1987-1999. Sometimes with friends. I performed at open mics in Vancouver and Surrey BC, 2003-2017. I found work as an art model, video maker, cook, tree planter, bread baker, ditch digger, inventory taker. In the future, I wish to perform professionally. To record quality audio recordings of my songs; also, to write more songs, poems, and stories. With PC Paint I create pictures of people and designs. I draw with colored pencils and pens landscapes and people. I take still photographs with a Powershot Camera. Other interests include hiking-biking and traveling to view the world I have not yet seen." Mark J. McLeod
