Larissa Healey, known artistically as Gurl23, is an urban warrior of Anishinabek descent. As a woodland artist and graffiti painter, Larissas works have covered the walls of the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Bill Reid Gallery, the National Gallery of Canada, and the streets in Vancouver. As an experienced facilitator and teacher, Larissa has dedicated her life to educating youth and communities about the importance of graffiti as an art form, and the power of creativity.
