Kirsty Morison is a ceramic artist with a background in Textile and Graphic Design and studied in Wellington, New Zealand. She has over 20 years experience as a practicing interior printed and woven textile designer in New Zealand, UK and Canada. In recent years, Kirsty has moved her textile/graphic design influences onto ceramic surfaces. She focuses on organic forms and glazes with uncomplicated subtle surface decoration. Influences from nature feature widely in her functional tableware work. A passion for culinary arts also influences the design of her hand built and thrown ceramics.
