The art of Karen Colville captures beauty in natural environments, as well as the way her exploration of the relationship between real landscape and abstraction invites the viewers to question the relationship between unprocessed environments and human presence, providing the viewers with such a multilayered engagement, both on the emotional aspect and on the intellectual one.

Received grants in 2017 and 2020

Karen Colville is a visual painter and plant-based lifestyle artist with fiber and surface design. She is also a plant-based natural health care practitioner, herbalist, and natural health care advocate.
