John Alan Douglas is a prolific poet and collagist. He was born in Edmonton and grew up in Vancouver. He has been living in the Downtown Eastside over 6 years. He is a lifelong reader of eclectic material. He writes about history, philosophy, current events, and personal romantic life. He is inspired by his muses.
With his small arts grants, he published his 1st book titled Learning to Love. In his cover, he used his collage piece created at the Carnegie basement art workshop run by Haisla Collins. His book can be purchased for $20 by emailing at crowlly@gmail.com.
