Gena poses many artistic talents – singer, actor, poet and photographer. Her work documents the changing faces of the Downtown Eastside and the social change movements that characterize it. As a resident for six years, she has seen many changes to landscape and residents. With her Small Arts Grant, Gena will create a series of before and after photographs of her neighbourhood.
