Eileen is a 3 time award winning Grant recipient with the DTES Small Arts Grant Program.
She is a cutting-edge "4D" Visual Artist, introducing advanced technologies into the Acrylic painting medium, turning the art world on its head.
Her acrylic paintings break all the rules by being double-sided, allowing the exhilaration of viewing two completely different artworks from each side separately, depending on whether you are coming or going.
Assemblage materials are combined together into a mosaic kaleidoscope collage of mixed media which results in a suspended-state of static animation.
Her original paintings are spectacular displays of magnificent color, incorporating light itself as an elemental component of the Artwork, to shine through the painting. The light itself becomes a part of the art form, enhancing the mosaic colours, which merge together to form and create a completely new Canadian Artistic Medium. The scope of transparency, illumination, reflection and shadow is enhanced using reflecting points of light to project and backlight elemental properties within the Mosaic Panel. Her work appears to be constantly changing in appearance, depending on the angle the light plays upon the work, allowing it to always remain fresh each time it is viewed as if being seen for the first time again when viewed minutes later.
