I was born in Moncton, New Brunswick. I have lived and studied in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, England and Toronto.
From 1968 to 2012, I worked an assortment of jobs from Nova Scotia to British Columbia to the Northwest Territories including dishwasher, short order cook, farmhand, millworker, mailman, infantryman, warehouseman, cartoonist, freelance writer, press worker and janitor.
I’ve always had a knack for art and have always had a fascination for classical and surrealist art and have decided to surrender myself to it now that I’m no longer able to work. I have merged it with the ‘etching’ styles of 19th Century book illustrations. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I did doing them.
