Alfredo Flores arrived in Canada from Guatemala 28 years ago. After spending time in Toronto and Montreal he landed in Vancouver in 1997. Learning to play the panflute and the guitar he has been busking ever since. He has played his whimsical latino flavored tunes along with many popular English pop tunes on the streets of Vancouver and in the skytrain stations ever since.
He has also been a fixture at many Downtown Eastside events over the past 20 years, particularly at the Day of the Dead ceremonies during of the annual Heart of the City Festival.
He is presently recording a CD of his most popular tunes and will be having a CD release party when it is completed.
