Abegael Jackson is an artist; a jack of all trades whom has mastered none but continues to explore and learn new skills all the time. Vancouver Foundation provided Abegael with a DTES Small Arts grant so that she could create a cohesive collection of artworks from the mishmash of seemingly unrelated paintings she has so far created. She paints colours and textures, preferring not to willfully create forms or recognizable shapes. Using mainly ink but also a combination of porcelain and fabric paint she creates what can only be described as real life representations of her emotions.
