I like painting because it can be a medium for self expression or whatever you may want to say that you cannot say with words. In addition, you have lots of options: you can paint using acrylics, watercolours, oils, etc. Usually, I paint landscapes, materials, and abstract. Sometimes I make costumes and do beading too. I learned painting years ago and stopped for a long time, but now I am continuing to practice these arts.
