Sharon Burns

As a long time resident of the Downtown Eastside, Sharon is dedicated to documenting the rapidly changing neighbourhood, creating a visual portfolio of the streets and buildings, people and art of the area. The images in The Ephemeral Outside, her second solo exhibition, focus on the neighbourhoods disappearing street aesthetic, while paying tribute to the often unnamed artist and to outsider art.
