How has receiving a DTES Small Arts Grant supported your development as an artist?

The DTES Small Arts Grant allowed me to devote a block of time to exploring my early roots in an area near the downtown eastside that is now experiencing encroaching gentrification.

How has DTES Small Arts Grants helped DTES artists?

I believe the DTES Small Arts Grants help DTES artists by giving them time and materials with which to explore their creativity and give them the confidence they need to continue working in their chosen medium.

How has DTES Small Arts Grants impacted the community?

I feel the DTES Small Arts Grant impacts the community by providing opportunities to show their work to the world, share their work with friends and family, and meet other artists in the community.
