Jeff Wilson

Jeff Wilson was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and has worked around the world in the mining industry for several years, settling in Vancouver, Canada in 2004. He has been painting full-time since 2013.

Jeff is a self-taught realist acrylic painter. He started exhibiting publicly in 2011 and gradually ramped up over the following years. He currently has three touring collections exhibiting in public venues though western Canada & USA. Jeff was completed his first art residence in March 2014 in the Shetland Islands.

He was awarded the Signature AFCA designation by the Federation of Canadian Artists in March 2014. The Vancouver Foundation awarded Jeff an arts grant in January 2015. Based on this, he is currently working on an urban landscape & figurative series in and around the Downtown Eastside.
